Former residents of Grenfell Tower and Grenfell Walk, and current residents of Hurstway Walk, Barandon Walk, Testerton Walk, Bramley House, Treadgold House and 44-50 Verity Close, who currently have a KCTMO issued ‘Estate’ or ‘Garage’ free parking permit following the Grenfell tragedy, will not have to renew their permits until June. ‘Estate’ or ‘Garage’ permits, despite the permits stating they are only valid until 31 March 2018, continue to be valid if they are displayed correctly. This includes permits applied for by residents who are currently living in car-free developments, temporary accommodation, or another borough.  However all residents must continue to display permits correctly to avoid receiving a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

Permits are limited to one permit per person – but there is no limit on the number a property or household can have, although any second and further permits granted will need to be applied for and paid for. Lancaster West residents can email for further help or advice, or Key Workers can also help with permit applications.

All other Borough residents who are not covered by the above exemptions will need to renew their permits as normal. Regular parking rules are still in place across the Borough and need to email if further advice is needed.
